Lau NOCT2 R5

Okay so basically I can't believe I managed to finish this. Like, the first week of the round (well, half a week), I was still at work, and then I had to pack and move back to college. Second week, I didn't have my tablet because I'd forgotten it at home. So my parents mailed it to me, but they didn't send the tablet cord with it, so I had to wait for them to mail that too, at which point I only had like three weeks left. I had some sketches I'd done in class, but not much else... until I saw a Cracked article that linked to this music video and immediately thought "WELP, THERE'S MY COLOR SCHEME, TIME TO SET EVERYTHING ON FIRE."

So I did.

Now, as far as what's going on...
Panel 1: Smoke and Lyra, already mega-evolved, narrowly dodge Dialga's Flamethrower as they ready a Drain Punch and a Dazzling Gleam.
Panel 2: Dialga easily deflects their attack with an Ancient Power, and we see the Flamethrower from before has set the grassy arena ablaze, which quickly starts to spread into the seats and across the field.
Panel 3: Dialga shoots the Ancient power outwards, which Lyra drops to avoid and Smoke narrowly dodges in her hasty escape. Lewis is preparing a Curse, Phlogiston is charging a Solarbeam, Scythe is hitting Dialga with an Ice Beam while Wisp attempts a rather ineffective Confusion. Venus charges forth with a Play Rough, and Sparks and Flint hurry closer so they can attempt their own attacks.
Panel 4: Lau rudely yanks Milo's headphones out (come on, he was listening to an awesome playlist, fight music is very important), while Venus gets knocked flying past them by a Flash Cannon from Dialga.
Panel 5: Wisp, Sparks and Flint all gather underneath their opponent, charging up electric moves.
Panel 6: Two Thunderbolts and a Thunder Fang hit Dialga together, finally doing some damage despite not being very effective.
Panel 7: Wisp retreats to the trainers, throwing up a Reflect, while Venus and Scythe protect themselves with Iron Defense and Dig, respectively.
Panel 8: Lau's pissed. He's really fucking pissed. He is beyond done with other people manipulating him and trying to decide his future for him, he's outraged at Vulcan's death, and he doesn't understand why or how Dialga let him win so many rounds but despite not feeling like he deserves his wins, he also really doesn't want to fucking die, so he just funnels that confusion and fear into his anger and lets it all out.
Panel 9: Phlogiston sprints as close to Dialga as he can, the fiery battlefield activating his Flash Fire ability as he charges up an Eruption.
Panel 10: Phlogiston leaps straight for Dialga as the other pokemon hit the god with Fire Punches, Fire Fangs, and Will O Wisps, using that fire to fuel his own Eruption and burn Dialga to char - well, hopefully.
