Cal hopped off his Corviknight and returned the bird before turning to look over the blockage that lay before him. He'd hiked this trail many times before on patrol, even back when he was on crutches - it was a relatively easy trail, not too far from Snowden, popular with backpackers of all sorts.
Overnight, it seemed, a pile of ruins had sprouted out of the ground.
He shivered and adjusted his scarf, glad he'd asked Skylar for a cold-weather model of his leg for jobs like this. On his shoulder, Nattie had puffed up her feathers such that it looked like he just had a big puffball perched on him. It was freezing cold, he was standing before

Today was supposed to be a relaxing easy day, to just go for a nice walk with her pokemon and just enjoy the fresh air and calmness of walking. So how did Nyoka find herself herex standing with a basket of Applin plush dolls, the trainer felt her eyebrow twitch at the sight of all these plushies. Somewhere regular Applins plush while others were the shiny version, which Nyoka liked the most, with a sigh she rubbed at her forehead. How did she get roped into this? Her shiny Wooper was to thanks, the happy go lucky boy saw the basket and jumped right in. So now here she was, given a basket and random partner to deliver with, so a stranger yay f

Patty leaned against the wall outside Arka's room, rolling a pokeball between her fingers. Seemed to her that the Team Thorn admins weren't all that if they couldn't even take control of their own Pokemon. Seriously, it was one Jynx; how hard could it be to deal with?
And yet, after seeing so many other trainers try and fail, she'd reluctantly reached out for a partner to act as backup on this "dangerous mission." At the very least, if she did somehow get hit with a Lovely Kiss and pass out, the other person could drag her out. Of course, sending the other person in first was also tempting, but if they succeeded without Patty then she might

"Right here, Sunflower."
The Volcarona descended to the ground in a puff of yellow scales, and Abella stepped off its back, affectionately rubbing at the fuzz around its face. "Good work, dear. I hope she's in..." The last time she'd tried to surprise Naomi with a romantic gesture, it had turned out she was at work anyway. Well, no matter! Since Naomi hadn't been home, she hadn't even known about Abella's failed attempt, so she hadn't lost any face! With a confident smile, she took the steps two at a time up to her girlfriend's apartment and rapped at the door. "Naomi~!"
There was a small clatter from the other side of the floor. "O-Oh seabi

Even though Eve had left her job at the Daycare months ago in order to pursue a career as a Ranger, she still volunteered on the weekends. So, when she stepped inside the Daycare Center that Saturday morning, there was still that sense of familiarity as she looked around at the mixture of order and chaos. One worker was assisting a small family who wanted to drop their Pokemon off. Another customer was picking up his Pokemon. Eve moved out of the way as a Riolu covered in soap suds from a recent bath ran past her. A few seconds later, a worker ran past, holding out a towel and calling out to the baby Pokemon. The sight reminded her of the man

Celeste was absolutely delighted to find yet another cat cafe opening up in Ivywood. Sure, this one wasn't on the way to the library, but it was so much closer to her apartment!
The young woman stepped into the cafe, her normally melancholy expression broken by an excited grin. As usual, she had several of her own pokémon with her - today, she had a Meowth under each arm, and a third one trotting behind her, all with wildly different fur and markings.
Since interacting with pokemon wouldn't do, Princess had eyed the other customers. There was that older woman over by the entrance, but she smelled weird, like dust and... old. And then t

Sometimes it was the little things that really made Cal appreciate what Skylar had done for him. Being able to scale sheer cliff faces all on his own was amazing, but it still sometimes made him smile unexpectedly when he was just... able to get around indoors without using crutches or having to ride a pokémon who really didn't fit well into spaces designed for humans.
Not that he didn't still use their help, but it was for stuff everyone else needed pokémon help for. Like passing the ends of fake vines to his Natu and Murkrow so they could fly up to the top of this museum exhibit and hook them in place.
"Right there Nattie, that'
